"Fragile Art in Motion" brings together performance, film, digital art, and public discourse, creating a space where artistic practices engage with instability, resilience, and shifting cultural realities across both physical and digital worlds.

During the preview week of the 2026 Venice Biennale (May 7−8), CityX Foundation presented "Fragile Art in Motion" — a two-day independent program that unfolded across the Arsenale area in Venice.

Rooted in a private collection spanning over a century of Ukrainian avant-garde, CityX Foundation supports artistic practices shaped by transformation, vulnerability, and cultural change. Through exhibitions, performances, and digital initiatives, the foundation creates new contexts for artists working at the intersection of history and contemporary experience.

The 2026 edition introduced Zero 10, Art Basel’s new platform dedicated to art of the digital era. Bringing together artists working across code, light, artificial intelligence, robotics, moving image, and computational media, Zero 10 reflects the growing recognition of digital art as an integral part of contemporary artistic practice.

For CityX Foundation, the defining moment of this year’s Art Basel was the presentation of Pulse Agglomerate by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, exhibited by bitforms and Galería Max Estrella. During Preview Week, the Foundation acquired the work as part of its long-term commitment to preserving Fragile Art and supporting the future public accessibility of significant contemporary artworks.

CityX Foundation participated in Art on Tezos: Berlin, presenting the exhibition "Soft Error. A Metamorphosis Chapter."

The project brought together digital artists exploring identity, memory, and transformation in the age of algorithmic systems. The exhibition examined how technological environments reshape perception — where repetition, glitches, and digital noise become part of contemporary visual language.

Hosted at Schlachter 151 in Berlin, the exhibition was part of a multi-room program connecting artists, curators, and galleries working at the intersection of contemporary art and Web3 culture.

CityX Foundation participated in Art Busan 2025, one of the most significant contemporary art fairs in Asia, presenting a curated booth in the FUTURE section dedicated to experimental and forward-looking practices.

At Booth D17, CityX Foundation — in partnership with CUT ART — introduced a dual curatorial presentation that brought together historical legacy, contemporary painting, and digital artistic research.

The presentation explored the intersection of fragility, memory, and artistic transformation, connecting physical artworks with digital platforms and expanding the foundation’s ongoing dialogue between traditional and new media.

CityX Foundation participated in Zona Maco 2025, the leading contemporary art fair in Latin America, presenting a curated selection of works from its international collection.

The presentation explored themes of transformation, fragility, and cultural memory, bringing together artists whose practices examine the shifting relationship between the body, identity, and contemporary experience.

Through painting and sculpture, the exhibition highlighted CityX’s commitment to supporting artists from diverse cultural contexts while building bridges between traditional artistic practices and emerging digital frameworks.

CityX Foundation presented a two-day Pop-Up Expo and Assembly in New York during NFT NYC 2024, bringing together artists, technologists, collectors, and cultural practitioners to explore the future of Fragile Art in the digital era.

Held at Lume Studios (393 Broadway, New York), the event unfolded as a hybrid platform combining exhibition, performance, panel discussions, and immersive digital presentations.

At the center of the program was the premiere of "Ulive", CityX’s second NFT drop, a collection created by young Ukrainian artists reflecting on resilience, memory, and emotional experience during wartime.

Through this project, CityX continued its mission of preserving fragile cultural expressions through blockchain technology, bridging physical artworks with digital formats and creating a transparent and lasting archive of contemporary art.
