Online Presentation
FUTURE Section
At Booth D17, CityX Foundation — in partnership with CUT ART — introduced a dual curatorial presentation that brought together historical legacy, contemporary painting, and digital artistic research.
The presentation explored the intersection of fragility, memory, and artistic transformation, connecting physical artworks with digital platforms and expanding the foundation’s ongoing dialogue between traditional and new media.

Exhibition Focus
The booth juxtaposed three different artistic approaches —
the surreal legacy of David Lynch, the poetic painting of Shin Seung-Hun, and the digital practice of Tetiana Malinovska — creating a dialogue between cinema, contemporary painting, and new media.
Together, these perspectives reflected CityX’s broader curatorial inquiry into fragility, imagination, and cultural memory in the contemporary world.
CityX Foundation also featured Ukrainian artist Tetiana Malinovska through a digital presentation accessible via the ART ROUND online platform.
Malinovska’s practice spans painting, graphic art, and video, exploring themes of identity, memory, silence, and resilience through a deeply personal and poetic perspective.
Although her works were not physically displayed at the booth, visitors could access her digital catalog via QR code, extending the exhibition into an online environment.
CityX Foundation is dedicated to preserving and promoting Fragile Art — works born from conflict zones, cultural transformation, or personal vulnerability.
Through exhibitions, research programs, and digital platforms, the foundation connects physical artworks with blockchain-based and digital infrastructures, building new frameworks for cultural preservation and artistic experimentation.

Works presented
Tetiana Malinovska
CityX Foundation paid tribute to the legendary filmmaker and visual artist David Lynch, presenting his works in Busan for the first time.
The booth featured six original lithographs from Lynch’s celebrated 15/30 edition series (2007−2012). These works extend Lynch’s cinematic imagination into the field of visual art, revealing his characteristic combination of surrealism, emotional intensity, and dark humor.
Created during his long collaboration with Paris lithography studios, the prints reflect Lynch’s fascination with the traditional lithographic technique — a medium he embraced as a space for experimentation and introspection.

CityX Foundation participated in Art Busan 2025, one of the most significant contemporary art fairs in Asia, presenting a curated booth in the FUTURE section dedicated to experimental and forward-looking practices.
