A gallery without walls — where contemporary art, blockchain technology, and cultural memory converge.

CityX Foundation presented a two-day Pop-Up Expo and Assembly in New York during NFT NYC 2024, bringing together artists, technologists, collectors, and cultural practitioners to explore the future of Fragile Art in the digital era.

At the center of the program was the premiere of "Ulive", CityX’s second NFT drop, a collection created by young Ukrainian artists reflecting on resilience, memory, and emotional experience during wartime.

Through this project, CityX continued its mission of preserving fragile cultural expressions through blockchain technology, bridging physical artworks with digital formats and creating a transparent and lasting archive of contemporary art.

The New York Pop-Up Expo marked an important step in CityX's vision of building "a gallery without walls".

By integrating physical artworks with blockchain technologies, CityX creates new infrastructures for collecting, preserving, and experiencing Fragile Art across both physical and digital worlds.

The Ulive NFT Collection was created by 13 Ukrainian artists following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The works capture emotions, resilience, and collective memory during wartime, transforming fragile experiences into digital artifacts preserved on blockchain.

The collection features 16 one-of-one NFT artworks, accompanied by a bespoke soundtrack by DJ Koloah and voiceover narration, creating an immersive audiovisual experience that merges storytelling with digital art.

Through Ulive, CityX reinforces its mission to safeguard cultural heritage and emotional memory in times of instability, ensuring that fragile artistic expressions remain accessible for future generations.

The exhibition environment merged digital interfaces, sound, and projection mapping, allowing audiences to experience NFT artworks not only as blockchain assets but as immersive cultural narratives.
